GT I-Drive XC4 3.0 2007 for downhill?

My brother is interested in buying this bike, and he wants to use it for downhill occasionally. I am just checking to see if its suitable

The XC moniker gives it away - it will not stand up to the rigours of full on DH. Saying that, thay are tough - I have one, performs well. But for trails and a bit of All Mountain, not hucking! Have a look at something burlier - good deals on GT Idrive 7s.
