Hope PRO 2 wheel set for £200ish ?

My mate wants a similar wheel build to my Hope Pro 2 for his Birthday and I am charged with sorting it !
What rims are recomended to get the whole build for £200 ish?
I was looking at the Mavic rims with DT swiss spokes but I cannot find it for less than £230 any ideas ?
He is really set on the PRO 2 hubs so I cannot change that spec !

about 230 like you said though but merlin build wheels very well and the build is as important as the parts chosen to be honest0 -

i've just got mavic XM719 on hope hubs, the price of those is £240 though. worth it but still £40 over
thats through merlin cycles btw. best choice really.
i'd say you'd want £250 for hope wheels.0 -
