A Two Grand Bike - I've got a choice of three
Its thru the Ride2Work scheme with Evans so I've got it down ot a Felt F3, Colnago CLX, and a Cannondale SystemSix.
My heart says Colnago, my head says Cannondale, my spleen says Felt...at the moment my spleen is winning.
Any thoughts from anyone whose had/got one of the above??
Your thoughts (as always) are appreciated.

Well, how do the bikes differ?
I prefer the Colnago based on looks alone, but if the Cannondale is a better frame or a better overall bike, it's probably the one to get.0 -
The Cannondale's a superb bit of kit. But then I am biased 'cos I've got a Synapse SL.Perpetuating the myth that Lincolnshire is flat.0

I think the CLX is aesthetically one of the best bikes out there. Seeing it in both white and the red/black version pretty much instigated my search for an easy on the eye carbon fibre bike.
The only thing that has made me rule one is for £2k I thought 105 and a set of Aksiums was a bit mean.0 -
colnago from those three - all seem pretty nice 'sportive' oriented frames
(I'd want to add another to the list though - the specialized roubaix expert at £1900 - and then i'd have that!)0 -

CLX - nothing takes corners downhill at speed like a Colnago so worth it for the grin factor!0

Which one has the best geometry for you?My silly looking GT

Definitely the Spesh Roubaix Pro!!!0

What are the specs (just wanting to check before I make assumptions that the Colnago will be much lower specced than the other two)?0

In terms of fit, I've got a CAAD 9 which is damn near perfect. I put the Felt on 'cos it has the best groupset/wheels for the priceCrash 'n Burn, Peel 'n Chew

Anything but the Colnago then (assuming the Cannondale has better spec than that). If it was me I'd probably go for the Felt, but can see a reasonable argument for the Cannondale. Very unconvinced that you get good value for money from a Colnago frame - they're very overpriced for what they are.0

Colnago no question0

If you've got £900 I've just seen this Colnago for sale:

Hmmm 150 miles old and the guy doesn't know the frame size.
Anyone here sell a specialist bike on Gumtree? Thought not.
That'll likely be stolen then...0 -

Could be that not sure where measuring? Don't think I'd assume that nicked - if someone grabbed it for a quick fix, then wouldn't want have time/effort to advertise it and would have sold it on for for a lot less than 900 notes. If more professional, would likely split and ebay it. Lots of folk buy expensive toys without knowing much about them and get quickly bored.
Seems a realistic price for a quick sale.d.j.
