hi

if you were to recommend a set of 700c road wheels for less than £200, what would they be

to be used for long hilly rides

rider is 12 stone

weight is important but so too is quality and durability

thanks

Fulcrum 5's or the new '08 Aksiums? Apparently the latter have shed over 120 grams from those I own.

i like the look of the falcrum 5's, but have read reports they are maybe not so ddurable, the askiums can be bought at a good price, any campy wheels anyone would like to recommend, what about the cosmos

Oh I've no idea mate. I'd had them recommended to me when I was after a new wheel set.
The bike I'm very likely ordering comes with them by default but the bloke in the shop if offering an upgrade to Fulcrum 3's for £190 so I think I'll have those in silver. 8)

When I get my DT's switched to Campag for the new bike I'm going to get another wheelset for the Allez to compliment the Aksiums. I was thinking Fulcrum Evo 5's but now the Aksiums have shed a bit of weight I might get another set of those. :?
