Took off this morning for 40-50miles, bit windy and gusty but not to bad,10miles in rounded a bend to see an escaped bullock in the middle of the road (My worst nightmare). Farmer was there and I was just going to go round it giving a wide bearth and he said "wouldn't do that son he has rammed 3 cars already"
So I rode at a steady 4 miles per hour slipstreaming a bullock for a whoe mile till the beast rammed through a hedge into a field.
24 miles in i was going along a small lane in the Vale of Belvoir and there was a massive bang which felt like it was next to my left ear, caused me to wobble and tiopple into the verge (No damage done) Bloody bloke shooting pheasants just the other side of the hedge!!
He did apologize and I picked myself up and continued on.

42 miles in and nearly home and I was almost taken out by ............... A GARDEN SHED!!!!
Flew right across the road infront of me and crashed into the hedge.

I am now not going out for the rest of the day just in case I have used up all my luck!!

Could I suggest nipping out for a lottery ticket, just in case you're on a roll?

Makes white van dodging sound positively relaxing!
Even if the voices aren't real, they have some very good ideas.

you have to watch out for those garden sheds, they just creep up on you when you are least expecting them!
    FCN 8 mainly

I had a very boring ride this morning compared to you.

How was the garden shed being propelled???

Shed had been lifted by a gust of wind, It was only the roof and one side panel so not a full shed attack.

There was probably some beaters going through the field to flush any sheds out for the guns on the other side of the hedge

    You met Baba Yaga !

In Russian tales, Baba Yaga lives in a log cabin that moves around on a pair of chicken legs
