What bike for £550?

hi im looking to spend around £550 on a road bike. People have been recommending the giant scr or a cube aerial.

Has anyone else got any other suggestions.?

Road RACE, AUDAX, TOUR, FITNESS or COMMUTE?

Have a look at the TREK 1.2 or 1.5; both are available double or triple, both have guard clearances and rack eyes.

im looking for a compact geometry bike ill use it at weekends 30-60 miles

For that sort of money you are probably best looking for something that is an all rounder. Then when you decide you want something more expensive your £500 bike can be used as a winter/light tourer, etc

These all seem good value for bikes that can take mudguards but still look reasonably racey.
