Cassettes and Shimano 10-speed hubs
Hi,
I feel that my Shimano cassettes don't give me enough flexibility to choose which sprockets to use. The answer seems to be to use non-Shimano cassettes.
The one that I've found is Marchisio. Not cheap but available through Parkers. I can do pretty much what i want with them, including get a 30-T sprocket. (Yes I need it!)
Problem is that they are not compatible with 10-speed only Shimano hubs, only 9-/10-speed hubs.
OK, this is the problem. I want new wheels, and everything I want has 10-speed only Shimano hubs, whether factory-built or hand-built. What to do?

Options:
- Change to Campg. Not a chance!
- Get some wheels which have 9-/10-speed hubs. Well, yes of course they exist but why should I?
- Don't use the Marchisio cassette. A good one this, but what's the alternative? They must exist, surely?
Cheers,
Andy

Thanks aracer, the hubs for hand-built I'm particularly interested in are DT 190s, but might go for (factory-built) Campag Shamals instead. In both cases the manufacturer's websites describe them as 10-speed only. I think...

You are supposed to be able to get the 190s with a 9/10 hub as well (nearly included them in my post, but didn't for that reason). My understanding is that the freehub body is the same as the 240 anyway, so you could simply get a 240 freehub and swap it over (shouldn't add any weight if you swap the freehub bearings as well, and I'm sure the expense isn't an issue for somebody considering 190s 8) ).0

Thanks again aracer!
EDIT: aha! I misread the DT SWiss website: http://www.dtswiss.com/Products/Compone ... ramic.aspx
