Buying advise

I want to upgrade my gears on a hardrock,please can i have some advise as to which deralleurs to use and should i also change the rear cassete at the same time,or what would you upgrade first i already done the forks(toras and yes they made a hell of a difference).

Merlin Cycles have Shimano LX and XT sets of front rear and shifters:

They also have Sram PG 980 cassette and PC 971 chain combos or there top of the line PG 990 cassette with PC 991 chain.

If you feel the cassette has sufficient wear then this would be a good time to upgrade that also as then you would benefit from significantly improved shifting.

Both the LX and the XT are good set ups, the XT being lighter and smoother in shifting and the Sram chain/cassette combo I find to be very good quality also IMHO.
