What's public opinion on this? Spec/price etc.

The stock bike with different spec is £2,800,but this spec looks ok to me because I have an upgrade mentality,so anything I don't like will be binned or given away anyway at some point..
edit...now bugger me,the link shows RS totem, while earlier the page definitely said Lyric 2 step air :?:

I don't know much about those kind of bikes, but the build kit on that link looks very XC for what looks like quite a long-travel machine.
Deus is XC race kit, and the Cinders are trail tyres.
Good stuff, but would you want to upgrade it?0 -
I can live with that tbh because I have my Marin as a thrash bike, and I have nothing against taking a bit of time to transform this creature over to 'AM' as it were.
I kinda want something inbetween those disciplines....XM?? (there's a new one for the manufacturers to tout).
Seems a good price though compared to the normal build..

speaking from experience the Merlin custom builds are put together with such TLC you would think the bike was their own, also for that money I would say the spec was spot on.
I love those guys (in a manly way you know)0
