hi, i have been looking at a new fork for my transition trail or park and so far come up with these four:

Rock shox pike 318
Rock shox domain 302
Marzocchi 55 of some kind (probably the cheapest one)
Fox 32 vanilla R

Which would you say is best. thanks :D

I absolutely loved my DJ3's which I used for all the things your asking but they are somehat heavy. i'd say go for Marzocchi 66's

Pikes every time. They are a supremely capable fork.

There's been some problems with the Marzocchi 55s - apparently they're a swine to set up right and there's also some issues with the build quality and the security of the bolt-through axle.

The Foxes are probably the best of the lot, but they are pricey for what you get and they need a fair bit of TLC.

Hence I think that the Pikes are probably the answer for you. I've had mine (454 U Turns) for about 12 months and I've absolutely nothign bad to say about them.
