Hi, I've been looking on the internet for a few months now, trying to choose a new bike!
It'll be my second bike - I want to upgrade from my specialized hardrock. I have £500 to spend and do mainly XC. Any recommendations?

spend it on upgrading the Hardrock?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I would like a lighter one than the hard rock, plus I've been told it's not worth upgrading. And I've sold it to my sis now so not an option anymore!0

more common then you would think. I have seen people race XC with rigid forks.Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)
Merlin single malt fixie (Commuter/winter/training)
Trek superfly 7 (Summer XC)
Giant Yukon singlespeed conversion (winter MTB/Ice/snow)

Go and test a few out.0
