How's this for some crazy "logic" (at least in my opinion)?

Dunno about the advice as I didn't click the link, but your new solar powered head looks great. Are they lion cells? :D

I think its an argument as applied to pedestrians, where it works because you can step to the side, and is useful where you NEED to step to the side.

For bikes, it might work if you were willing to jump off into the bushes every couple of minutes. Otherwise, surely it greatly increases approach speed, reducing time for drivers to react and providing an excellent view of one's own death?

Do you follow the bicycling and the law posts on Velonews? I'm sure someone asked about this, and discovered that in some states its not only suicidal, but entirely legal?

Had heard about this one before.

The one thing i didn't see mentioned is that while the rules (highway code) for walking on the road where no adjacent footpath is provided, is to walk against oncoming traffic, the exception to that is where visibility dictates that you will be easier seen by walking with traffic, for example on a sharp right hand bend. All other road users are bound to the Keep Left rule.

Sarah Kennedy was in a bit of trouble recently for a comment on the visibility of some road users.
