On commute home last night, 4x4 waiting to turn right in front of me, i went down it's left across a junction on my left, Focus turned right across the front of the 4x4, missed him by centimetres. I guess he thought that as there wasn't room for a car to go down the side of the 4x4 there wouldn't be anything coming. Shook me up a bit thinking what could have been.

Two points to this post

1 I guess it was partly/mostly my fault, should have anticipated the car coming out of my blind spot behing the 4x4. You live and learn.

2 I'd done about 19 miles, with 2 to go, so was feeling good and glad to be nearly home, I think it's true what they say about accidents happening at the very end of a journey when you let your guard down.

Too true, I think we've probably all done that one, and learned from it.

It's a good thing that you can be philosophical about it. It happened, and you can see why it happened. It was nobody's fault really and nothing got damaged, except, maybe, your pride. Glad you're okay.
