changing brake blocks

hi folks,
trying to change a set of brake blocks on my good bike to zipp carbon blocks... thing is.. I can't get the existing ones out! :oops: they're centaur calipers and it looks like the slip in ones... but for love nor money can I get them out!! am I missing something silly?

    Undo the securing bolt/screw and apply the brakes and roll the bike backwards. If not then you'll have to take the complete assembly off the calliper and mount the block in a bench vice and push the holder off the block.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • hmmm no securing screw on these ones.... looks like its brute force and ignorance then?
