Hi guys!
here is a topic I posted a couple of months ago in the mtb forum, but wanted to make sure that also roadies had their say, so i'd be very grateful if you could take a couple of minutes to read and complete. thanks
Thanks,
Jon

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=7_2f4jvdUOsKYANNA3KdHzOQ_3d_3dHi there!
I am considering opening my own business, but after some research I have decided that it needs to be somethng different and bigger than the average bike shop, so I'll greatly appreciate if you could spare a couple of minutes to complete this short survey:
Thanks,
Jon

Some interesting ideas.
A couple of comments that don't seem to fit into the boxes:
If you go for the type of image described, you need to make sure the quality of the staff matches the decor. You don't appear to be going for the passing trade, so make sure you have good transport links. The other approach would be to base yourself on the edge of some National park, put in some showers and go for the whole lifestyle thing. Punter arrives in the morning with their bike, or hires one from you, rides with their mates all day. Realises the little Italian number hanging in your shop is just so much better that they have to buy it after being refreshed in your changing room and eaten your lightly toasted bean sprouts on rye.0 -

I like this idea, its a bit like the mountain bike setup they have at Afan and thats such a great place to ride, but then kick back in the excellent cafe/restuarant and stuff yourself while contemplating the number of bike equation (N +1)FCN 8 mainly

Another survey done here, despite a bit of a mistake on the last question. I meant you can always "learn", not "earn". Oops!To disagree with three-fourths of the British public is one of the first requisites of sanity - Oscar Wilde0

I like the idea of seeing the mechanics at work. I go to my favourite Chinese takeaway just because you can see them cook and know there's no weird sh*t going on out the back.0
