Biggest all British fight for a long while. My money is on Macca to take it. It should be a good fight so I'm looking forward to it. I'll be logging on to livefooty.com and hoping they'll be showing it on one of their channels. Seconds out is around 1.30am Sunday morning.

Yup Macca for me as well. I do like Haye but I'm an avid fan of anybody that comes out of the Calzaghe camp. It might be a short lived fight if they both come out gunning for it!!! Can't wait.

fighters picked to perfection, boxed like a robot,no natural talent....bruno must go down as one if not the weakest heavyweight world champion

Maybe for his generation of boxers, but compare him to the current bunch of elderly deadbeats and he wasn't bad. At least he had the balls to fight Tyson when Tyson was good unlike some other British "world champ", who waited until Tyson was a shadow of his former self, not mentioning any names!

I take it by the British World Champ you are referring to Mr Lewis?

A tad unfair I think!! Lewis was winning an Olympic gold medal as an amateur (1988) when Tyson was World Champ. Wasn't Lewis fault that Tyson lost the World title in 1990 then pretty much went on to self destruct from there (I know he was World champ after prison but he wasn't the same fighter). There are also all sorts of problems to try and unify belts if you have two World Champs.

anyway..... I think the Haymaker will take this. I like Mac, but I think Haye is very classy. Not sure I'll stay up to watch it though as I might not get out for an early ride if I do.

I was in Tescos the other night and looked around to see Matt Skelton in the queue next to me. Looks like the guy like his jaffa cakes 8)

Macarainelli will win. Haye is a natural heavyweight, he struggled so much at his last cruiserweight fight he said he would never fight again at that weight but it seems the purse has changed his mind.

It still took him another 12 years to fight him!! If they had fought in the early/mid 90's, there's no doubt Tyson would have won (easily).

I'm not going to argue that point, perhaps ESPN should do a computer generated match a la Rocky Balboa (shocking film!)

Stueyc - what is the problem with Skelton? Granted he isn't one for the boxing purists and lacks flair, but you cannot fault his effot/work rate, tenacity and ability to take a hit.

The guy is 40 and came into boxing late so he cannot afford to take risks. If he was 15 years younger, I reckon we'd be quite excited as he would have time to develop his boxing skills.

He knows what he's good at and sticks to it, a model professional. Not his fault that no one in the country is better.*

    * slight biased opinion as we went to the same school, admittedly 10 years apart.

Well I think we've every right to grumble about Skelton. If he was the 4th or 5th best heavyweight we had then no worries, on you go son. As it is he's up there in the top 2 which is a bit embarassing for us as he's a bralwer. As it is though, there doesn't seem to be many decent heavyweights in the division so we're not being shown up as much as we could be. I haven't seen Haye fight but it sounds like he'd be a good representative for the UK in the big league.

Such a shame Harrison turned out to be such a joke. No worries really though as we've got plenty of exciting fighters in the UK at the moment, all capable of winning belts if they don't already have them. But it would be nice to have a quality heavyweight in the ranks again.

If you haven't seen Haye fight, you may be in for a treat. I've seen most of his fights and I knew he would be a world champion from very early on. I just think Enzo has the confidence and training to beat him. Should be a cracker!!

I haven't seen either of them fight to be honest. Only snippets. I might scour youtube before the fight to see if I can get an idea on who might win. All the talk says its going to be a good fight though so I'm going to try and watch it. Hopefully the net will provide. Never quality viewing but better than reading about it in the paper.

I am lucky enough to have got tickets for this through my mate's Sports & Social club :P

Row T, so should have a great view. I am not looking forward to it finishing at 4AM though! I can't believe they are pandering to the Yanks. It's two British fighters and it's on British soil!

I'm looking forward to those big body shots that they were both throwing in their last fights.

Macca to win, but I'm not sure of it, both powerful hitters. Haye does seem the more 'athletic' of the two but it's not his natural weight and there were complaints of leaving his chin out vs Mormeck.

Also looking forward to seeing Woods shutting Tarver up.

Over already! Managed to get it online but not much to see. Haye was pretty slick. Fair play, look forward to seeing him step up to heavyweight!
