Says its an EU model and has no disc brakes so is it still a good bike for the money or should I really spend the extra £100 and get the 07 model with disc brakes?

You wont find may better equipped bikes for that money. Lack of disc wheels may be a problem if planning to upgrade, but discs are not the be all and end all of a bike, plent of us still use Vs.0

Great - thanks. As a rough estimate how much would it cost to upgrade the bike to discs in the future?0

New wheels would be from about 80 quid, and the same for discs. 150-200 for a budget set up.0

My other consideration was this; trek 4500

What would you say is the better buy of the two?0 -
I think they have the wrong spec or year on that bike - the RS Judy TT was discontinued in 2005. The newer Trek 4500 is a bike I really like - fork is the better Dart2, great frame and parts.0
