1930's Evans, all I need is to replace the borrowed 2 speed changer for a 3 speed one and get the mudguards (hello Neil) and it's done. Rides well and it's got gears...

Hi Paul,
I think Neil in Dorset (get orf my land) has a pair of suitably tatty Bluemells put to one side for me. But if you see a 3 speed changer going, please bear me in mind..
How's the Paris?0 -
New or second hand 3 sp? . The Paris has moved again . I had forks done etc, then someone gave me a1950 Galibier .So one had to find a new home. The Galibier sits well with my collection of short wheel base machines.I would of like to have kept both ,but you have to draw the line.Room is becoming somewhat of a problem   .If you find a Carlton Jewel . I am looking for one.bagpuss0

Any crossbar mounted 3 speed would be good, the older the better.
I would like to get excited about Galibers, but for some reason I can't.
I'll keep an ear out for a Jewell. If you hear of a cheap and cheerful singlespeed, poss fixed, 23 - 24" frame, please point it in my direction, a mate is looking..0
