Hi all,

I have some shimano SPD-SL pedals (R540) and I need some new cleats. Trouble is, do I want the SH10's or 11's? What's the difference please?

Many thanks,

David

SH10 are fixed, SH11 have float.

Sorted this one now thanks to LBS.

The floating ones have some give and are better for beginnings as the fixed ones can cause knee problems if you don't get them quite in the right place.

The floating ones are yellow and the fixed oes red.

    Hope that might help others.

Always stick with floating cleats - been clipless for years - but always used floating. You knee needs floating !
