hope 11 hubs service

hi can you help me am trying to serivce my rear pro 11 hub i cant get the spacer off on hope wab sit it says to use a broad screw driver but i dont what to damage it it wont move any ideas thanks

    if you've got an old screw driver, find a really wide one then use a file or something similar to blunt it slightly. i'm not sure if its wise in complex hub workings but, in similar applications, i find putting some masking tape over the tip of the screw driver also helps protect delicate parts. collotape may work enen better as it isnt permeable and won't rip as easily

    you have not taken one to bits then have you.

    just pull it apart. Never needed to use tools yet. have a look at the XC drawing on hopes webby.

    seems to be stuck it wont just pull out i even tryed a pair of mould grips with acloth still count pull it out. :(
