i have the centaur 11-23 and not wanting to shell out £50 for a complete new 13-26 cassette couldn't i just do away with the 11,12 and replace them with a 25,26? plus the different lockring?

i don't think so - I had a 13-26 which fouled my frame so bought a 12-25 and now have a 12-26 on the bike

I have a 13-25 for sale if it is any use to you!!

unless yours is a tenner it wouldn't be worth it :lol:

they are centaur cassettes - so yes the largest two are asembled together.

in the case of the 13-26 this is a 23/26 and in the case of a 12-25 this is a23/25 so by taking my cassette is now that same as 12-25 only with a 26 in place of the 25.

hmm - methinks it might raise more than £10 on t'bay....

Technically you can order any of the bits that Campag part number in their catalogue. In practise it takes forever and costs an arm and a leg. Also as the UK warranty centre doesn't exist at the moment as Italian Cycle products have closed finding someone to order it for you will be a struggle. Try Mercian cycles.

You can buy individual Marchisio sprockets from
    http://www.webbline.co.uk/cassettes_chains.asp

However, for the changes you want to make it would probably cost nearly as much as buying a new cassette.

    ah well, 34-23 is ok.

Also, the first sprocket (or at least this is the case with the 8sp & 9sp products) has the spacer to the 2nd one built-in, so that'd need changing too, bumping the cost up further.

Probably better to buy a Veloce cassette as they have individual sprockets although it will still be a pricey exercise and the ramping sequence might be affected slightly.

seem to have just what you're looking for. The prices seem quite reasonable, too.
