Hi all, I'm looking for a new bike and wondered whether or not to get the rockhopper or the myka (I am female!) They both seem very similar, except for the female set up and frame on the myka. Is the Myka a female version of the rockhopper?

If you are female, or if you wanted to be female! which one would you go for? xxx

Simple answer, which ever fits you best.

Mens bikes have geometry setup for stubby legs and longer torsoes while womens bikes are more suited to the opposite. However some women feel more comfortable on mens bikes.

Good advice. Test them out - is the saddle is a bed of nails, they WILL change it!!!

General advice is that women of 5 foot 4 or under, gain more from a women`s specific design.

Aswell as a shorter tob tube wsd bikes can also have narrower bars, smaller grips, shorter stems, and wider saddles.

Yeah, unless you have manly proportions, a girly-specific bike will probably be worth a look.

Other bike companies do them too. Marin's Juniper Trail is a nice bike and Trek and Scott have girly bikes as well.
