Maximum rider weight?

I'm currently 6'3'' and 15 stone. I ride an aluminum frame and seatpost and 32 spoke rear wheel. I was 14 stone for a brief period but bulked up for rugby.

I don't race so racing weights aren't relevant to me. But I don't want to break my bike which I use as transport and part of my general fitness training.

I think I should be OK but just want to get the opinion of others.

Thanks.

I'm sure that so long as you have strong wheels, you'll be just fine.

I'm 6'5" and 15 stone, so I'll let you know if mine breaks!

when i started 3 years ago, riding a claud butler, £40 off ebay i was over 20 stone. now at 16 stone which is still too heavy for me at 6'2" i've had a roubaix and currently a synapse, both carbon, with no probs. my first new bike was an allez wit pants alex rims which popped spokes for fun. so as previousley stated get some good wheels
i hate hills (cos i'm fat)
