I've narrowed it down to two, which do you think.......

Bianchi all the way baby. They've just got an italian class about them.

I would say the Scott, but that's just because I've got the '07 model and love it!

There is only one problem with the Bianchi

"Crankset: FSA Gossamer MegaExo compact 50/45" you might want to check if this is correct.

Forgive my lack of knowledge but is there a big problem with that chainset? Are the ratios too close together for a roadie newbie?

If I do go for the Bianchi I think I'll have to go for celeste, prego!

It must be a typo - there would be very little difference between the two otherwise. Perhaps a non-cyclist web editor tried re-jigging "34-50" to read "50-34" using copy & paste and messed it up.

You're right, I've just checked and it is a typo on the web. The bike actually comes with a 34/50 compact.

Heart is saying Bianchi but head is saying Scott - may have to toss a coin....
