Hope vs Formula brakes

*I know that the formula k24's are the best thing since sliced bread* but how much better are they than the hope M4's?
I really want to get the formula brakes but damn why are they so bland and ugly looking? Hope have put a fair bit of effort into the look of theirs and I really like them. So I'm wondering is the performance of the formula's much much better or are the hope M4's still a pretty good buy?
"fyi" my current setup is hayes so1e rear brake and hope mini up front (about 4+ years old i think? - http://www.hopetech.com/products/hyd_06.htm )

silly me yes,
the good old "all mountain / agressive XC"
ie. lots of trail centre riding (cwmcarn, afan) and a few light dh runs. bike's a 2007 marin attack trail frame similar to cheeseys.0 -
if you are running Sram shifters that can work with the match maker then Formula.
Have a look at the Ones......"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

How much do you weigh? I use the mini's with 180/160mm rotors and fine that fine, i'm about 100Kg0

well i'm 70kg and i've heard plenty of great things about the mini's but am a bit worried that they might be a bit too light (race xc) for me. as i do come across the odd DH etc. maybe i should think about those though. cheaper, good performance and look great... hmmm0

TBH, i've never run out of braking power with mine. Most of the time my braking is limited by tyre grip rather than brake power.0
