Hello,

Any ideas on computers with cadence that fit on a stem?

Polar CS200 CAD, and includes HRM for around £90.
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

The VDO Digital series have cadence and stem mount options. Think the set would start about 50 quid.

I've got the CS100, but the CS200 looks the same

    Good Computer otherwise:

Any computer will fit on the stem. No nails is the mounting kit you got to ask for
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

All the up to date Cateye computers have an insert to the base that turns through 90 degrees to allow stem or bar fitting, The instructions here explain what I mean...

    http://www.cateye.com/sites/cateye/upload/manuals/en/CC-RD200_ENG+v3.pdf

And this computer is only £30!

There's the Cateye Strada which has a cadence model and the braket fits on the stem or bars. Although it didn't fit around my stem so I had to botch it with insulation tape. Looks tidy though.

If you want to go nuts, the Garmin Edges are great and they come with stem fit as standard. I have a 305, and it does cadence, HR, altitude as well as all the GPS stuff. You can pick them up cheap now that the new 605/705 are coming out.

Alternatively you can get a Cateye stem mount (cordless models only) for £3.50.
