Tyres for Coast to Coast

Doing the Coast to Coast soon and would like some advice on suitable tyres. We're doing the full off-road route from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay so will be taking in the Lakes high passes and the Yorkshire Dales etc along the way, riding 4-5 inch full sussers.
Coming from the relatively smooth and rock-free North and South Downs we haven't too much experience of tyres to use for this epic ride. We'llbe using inner tubes.
Any advice much appreciated.
So far on the maybe list...
Maxxix High Rollers
Schwalbe Nobby Nic's (durable enough?)
Conti Mountain King Protections
Conti Speed King Protections

Kenda Nevegal (rear)/Blue Groove (front)?
Quite an allrounder, will cope with mud (to a point) but still be quite fast rolling if you hit some smoother stuff.
I'm running Mountain kings right now, great for trail centres but this time of year they're not so hot on the more natural slippy stuff. Explorers are pretty useless unless it's dry... they rule in the summer!0
