Bike pants nightmare

Been wearing Ronhil bikesters which are OK but I just feel a bit 'uncool' wearing them. Been looking for some pants but unfortunately, due to my apparently unusual body proportions (32" waist, 29" leg) :? I'm having difficulties finding anything that fits me.
Tried Endura Singletracks and Altura Boulders in Medium. They are both a bit long but the main problem is that the seam of the knee patch rubs against my knee which will make riding in them uncomfotable. The Small sizes are too tight on my waist.
Has anyone got any suggestions or am I destined too wear tight fitting pants until summer?
Cheers

Interesting, I didn't believe my wife when she said her family all called trousers "pants", I thought she was justifying her unconscious adoption of the American term instead.
But back to your point, Ron Hill stuff is fantastic in terms of function and value, but nobody has ever said it was cool.
Have you thought about getting some of those 3/4 bike shorts? I'd guess they'd do fine for the rest of the chilly months - as it's virtually spring now anyway.
have a look at the Endura Humvee, I don't have them myself but have just ordered a pair of the shorts and noticed they were available in the 3/4 length also - for under £40.0 -
I have a pair of 3/4 length Endura Humvees and they are very good.
Had them for a months now and 3 rides, The leg length is perfect and cut to allow your knee to move freely with the seam over the top half of your shin.
I paid £40 and got a padded inner short with them (I use this unclipped so it does not move)0
