Help a newbie

Just joined up after spending a while browsing, looks like this could be my new home 
While I'm on I need a bit of of advice, I've been riding a hardtail for just over a year now and i think my skills have come on enough to progress to a full bouncer. I've got my eye on a Pitch Pro and can't really find a bad word about it unless you don't like the colour, which I happen to love! I just want to know what other bikes in the same price bracket should I consider, other than the Cannondale Prophet 2 which I think is about as pretty as a bulldog chewing a wasp!

Tell us a bit more about what sort of riding you want to do and what sort of budget you've got - then I bet you'll have more replies than you know what to do with!
Also, I'm with you on the Prophet (or any Canondale), but I'd say it was more of a garden gate.0
