so what do you want an XC fork or a Dirt jump fork?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
both lol :? i just want an all round fork that will take a few knocks but nothing too big probably at most 4/5ft drops and the occassional stair set. i just need an all round fork thats all.0

limited to wiggle and absolute budget is £179.99 unfortuanately due to using vouchers/loan from parents lol
thats why i don't have much choice.0 -
why can't you get the DJ2 from wiggle, if you really cant, the the tora 318 coil u-turn is tough and the adjust will be nice too.0

its out of stock until the end of march quite a long wait when my current forks are almost dead, the 318 doesn't get particularly good reviews, as i said before how about the mx pro with remote lock out?0
-
i think the tora's are stiffer due to bigger stanchions. Mine were very good, although mine were the air ones, and i spent a summer jumping and doing drops on them, they were trouble free.0

do you still use them or were they a part to be upgraded? basically i don't want to be thinking every time i see them that they need upgrading,0

They are a very good basic fork, they would still be on the bike if it hadn't been stolen.0

sorry to hear that mate, so you think there a good solid fork? or do you feel i should want for my DJ2's they are on order but would have to get it changed, its just the wait that is off putting.0

They are a good solid XC/Light AM fork, but they aren't designed for DJ. You may be lucky and have them last forever, but you may find you land a jump badly and they break on your first day. Plus you wouldn't have a leg to stand on with regards to a refund if you did break them.
Bottom line - wait for the DJ2s or find another suitable DJ fork e.g. Argyles."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0
