Dating a 1930's Evans tourer

Does anyone know how Evans date their 1930's bikes. The frame number is 8316.

components can be a good source of dating evidence, but beware they get replaced...if it is all original without a doubt then if it has a Sturmey Archer rear hub it will be dated, failing that Williams components are also dateable see http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/co ... ation.html. photo's would help.

The SA hub has been replaced. The chainset and head clip are Chater Lea.
