I am going for a custom build
DT 240s
DT 1.1 rims 32s
Spokes?

    On road wheels I'd always be inclined to go for the CX-Rays for that ever so marginal aerodynamic advantage.

    if you can afford it then CXrays

    revs are light but they build into a relatively flexy wheel. Okay on the front but the rear can produce some movement. I suspect the CXrays would build a laterally stiffer wheel, although I don't know that for sure.

    Dt's equivalent of the Sapim CX-Ray is the Aerolite. The Revolution is a bit more like the Sapim Laser (another option). If these are not for racing, I'd say use Sapim Race spokes.

    There's no difference in stiffness between wheels built with Revs and wheels built with CX-Rays.
  • DT Aerolites. I had Sapim CX rays and they snap.

    CX-Rays. Aerolites have a significantly lower tensile strength. CX-Rays can snap but only if they are incorrectly tensioned, too low or too high, just as anything badly built can fail.
