When did this habit start of people refusing to type the word "puncture"?
Does anyone seriously rationally believe that they are more likely to get a puncture if they type the word on a forum without little stars instead of letters?
Even if punctures are somehow mystically divinely karma-zen predetermined, are the divine beings, aliens, fairies, pixies, elves, goblins, gremlins, leprechauns, demons or whatever going to sprinkle little bits of glass on the road in front of you because you spelled out the word in full?
Isn't it more likely (if you believe in that kind of thing) that the said supernatural entities will mark you down for pneumatic let-down because you did a bad thing in your life like adultery or lying to your mother or something?
