A couple of questions:

1. Thought my forks were OK till I rode my mates Commencal with Rockshox Recons, mine are so harsh in comparison. Anything I can do sort the ride, I've tried playing with both rebound and preload but haven't got a clue where to start. Can I get my forks to feel any better or is the wallet gonna have to come out?

2. I always give the bike a good clean after riding, lubing thoroughly after. The poploc has all but seized solid. Cable runs ok, stiffness is at the fork crown but despite loads of GT85 is still stiff as buggery, any tips??

Cheers

Poplocs always knack up. Mine also has a cetrain fondness for going straigh into my knee when i come off.

Plus the darts are a bit shit. Up to you whether to upgrade or not.

set the preload to give the right sag. set the rebound so you dont get thrown off.
    and that is about it.

some had tight bushes and need a look at.

have a chat with the supplying shop.

  • The supplying shop knows feck all about suspension - he hadn't got a clue when I asked him how to set up!!!

Might try LBS, they're helpful and much more informed. Cheers for the help!
