Which new downhill forks?

I'm in the process of upgrading my 06 Norco Team DH bike, and can't decide between either Marzocchi 888 (which ever type - ATA, VC2 etc, etc), or RockShox Boxxer World Cup. I know the latter forks are more expensive, but are they worth the extra ££'s?
I'm running a Fox DH5 rear shock with a 500lb spring and a stroke of 3.5 (3inch).
At the minute I've just got some Marzocchi Super T's on the bike (for freeride) but am looking for a more longer fork upfront.
Thanks in advance.

do you want air or coil spring?
do you race or just Free ride?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I've never ridden on an air front fork (got one on another bike, but on the rear). I'll be using the bike for downhill only on this rig. I've heard the Boxxer's take more maintenece than the 888's, not sure if its true.0

correct boxxers do need more care.
i would recomend the 888 RC (what ever the number is now)"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yeah, I think I will stick with Marzocchi. I'll go for the coil version, RC3 model. Cheers, Nick!0

id recommended the fox 40 RC2's really nice ride on them + they look totally hot with 40mm stanchions0

apparently the 2008 marzocchis are not that good as they are made in China, and they're dirt jumper forks are now being manufactured by SR Suntour. is this true? or is someone pulling my leg?Best quote ever (pinkbike): "i've heard that Hill pees, deffecates, vomits and masturbates before each race to keep the weight down"0
