And even if the problem did exist, this design knocks a few mm's off the circumference and doesn't seem to save any space.0 -
Passes EN1078 so therefore performs as well as most helmets, and reaches the level required for UK sale!He that buys land buys many stones.
He that buys flesh buys many bones.
He that buys eggs buys many shells,
But he that buys good beer buys nothing else.

The gain in helmet volume seems very limited compared to classic helmets (and they are not so bulky). I guess that articulations add weight, and surely remove rigidity (even if helmet has fulfiled all required norms). So, I don't see any interest in that folding helmet.0

No way.
If you have room to carry a stash, you have room to carry a helmet and (as the article says) the only thing stopping it folding up on a side impact is your head.0 -

looks a bit like the ones on display at last years Cycle show. Stash - yes, sounds like it too
the only thing i could think was .... Why ? (and i still can't think of an answer)
So, to answer the original question, i shant be buying one0 -
Seems pretty pointless to me. There's an unlimited amount of space around the outside of my head, which is where my helmet usually resides. There is no secret ingredient...0
