    err no. iw ouldnt want to compromise structural strength on myhemlemt... just so it was... the same size as a normal hemlet, apparently.

    And even if the problem did exist, this design knocks a few mm's off the circumference and doesn't seem to save any space.

    The gain in helmet volume seems very limited compared to classic helmets (and they are not so bulky). I guess that articulations add weight, and surely remove rigidity (even if helmet has fulfiled all required norms). So, I don't see any interest in that folding helmet.

    Old Cinelli helmets fold so not really a new idea, just gives better protection.

    No way.

    If you have room to carry a stash, you have room to carry a helmet and (as the article says) the only thing stopping it folding up on a side impact is your head.

    looks a bit like the ones on display at last years Cycle show. Stash - yes, sounds like it too

    the only thing i could think was .... Why ? (and i still can't think of an answer)

    So, to answer the original question, i shant be buying one

    Seems pretty pointless to me. There's an unlimited amount of space around the outside of my head, which is where my helmet usually resides.
    There is no secret ingredient...
