Rear Brakes - Hope C2 broken

Hey everyone,
I have a DMR Rhythm with revolver hubs and DV rims, and recently picked up an old C2 on ebay, which was so thick it hit my spokes as my wheel spun, so I started filing it down until it fit, but filed too far and ended up going through the caliper half.
So now I am looking for another rear brake.
Can anyone recommend me one? I dont want to spend more than £50 ideally, don't mind picking it up second hand either.
So what good, solid, 'could stop a freight train' hydraulic disc brakes can you recommend? That will actually fit on my bike too.
Alternatively, does anyone know what the difference between the Magura HS33 Firm Tech and Evo II brakes are? (yes I know they're rim brakes)
Thanks!

Firm Tech use a proprietry fitting, integrated to some Magura forks.
Plenty of brakes out there for 50 quid, could pick a a new XT for that.0 -
XT? As in shimano xt?
If I go rim ways I will stick to hydraulics if possible.
Cmon theres got to be some decent hydraulic rim/disc brakes you guys can recommend me?0
