Mary townley loop
Hi guys and gals
just wondering what is a decent time to complete the mary townley loop i did it once took us a long time 7-8 hrs in saddle although we did take quite a lot of wrong turns.

There's a lot of variables. How fit and/or insane you are, what the weather is like, etc. etc. 7 to 8 hours is not record-breaking but it's respectable - I'd be happy at that. I've hear that it has been done in a little over 4,5 hours, but you'd have to be seriously fit for that sort of pace.0

Last year on the MT Loop challenge I did someone finished it in four hours and fifteen minutes. The last person came in around twelve hours. I guess anywhere in between is ok!0

imo it is rideable all year round . i venture up ther all the time.
i would highly recomend starting from hebden bridge which would give you a good place to stop for some post ride grub in a pub!
plus the final decent from studley pike to hebden is a blast0 -
