Crud mudgards, will they fit the Mongoose Tyax Elite?

Hey there guys, long time no see.

Just a quick question as I'm buying some stuff for my family but I thought I might as well get some for myself to!

I'm after some mudgards for my bike, I've always been put off by the extra drag/weight/noise/friction but the Crud ones look pretty well made!

Do you know if they both would fit the Mogoose Tyax Elite 2007 version fine?

Thank you all ever so much!

  • The rear fits fine, just clamps to the seatpost. The front will probably fit ok too. I have the crud ZX front guard on my 07 tyax and it's a belter.

Got the rear mounted on the seattube on my SS, just opened the clamp right out and pushed it down, leaving just enough room for the seatclamp. Still got a lot of thread protuding on the bolts though :?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • Got ya guys, going to order it right now!

the front will fit just about anything, trouble is if the chape of the crud doesn't mesh fully with the down tube it may scratch the paint a bit.
