Headset and forks???

hey
ive un-done my stem and the taken the star fangled nut out
but now for some reason my forks wont fall out????
what have i done wrong?
or what else is there to do
i have a fsa pig headset

er you should not need to remove the star nut.

you just need to tap the steerer with a rubber mallet or piece of wood and the forks should drop out. As Nicklouse says, you don't need to remove the star nut, just undo the top cap and stem bolts. And loosen off any cables, obviously. I stupidly snapped a cycle computer cable by dropping forks out once.I'm only concerned with looking concerned0
