I am having problems with one particular website, when I try to progress orders I get the following:-
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I have checked firewall etc and all looks okay.
Anyone got any ideas?

can you ping the website? if you can then possibly the site itself is having some problems..
if you follow this guide but replace the winona.edu with the site your trying to reach

You are not on AOL are you as they are having terrible problems - loss of web access and certain sites not working.0

Are you using an ADSL modem to connect?
If you are post your MTU value up here0 -
Seem to have cracked it, found that the SSL2 box was not checked but SSL3 was, so checked 2 as well and got through. B*ggered if I understand why!
