23.6mm seat post, where to get one ?

As above really, need a long seat post for a 1976 Dawes Super Galaxy, the fitted one is only about 8" long and i need about another 1 1/2 " height.

measure it again,...its never 23.6

if its reynolds plain gauge more likely 26.4 or if 531 it will be 27.0 or 27.2 ..

what did you measure seatpin or internal size of tube ???

sounds too thin to me too

1 inch is only 25.4mm. Can't imagine anything being safe below that
