  • Damm. Friendly bunch aren't you.

You'd better tell Pushed and Fox they're wasting their time.

New! High Volume (HV) Air Piston Kit. Much like using a high volume air sleeve on your rear shock, this kit tunes your forks air spring curve to give a more linear feel throughout the travel. Having problems getting full travel out of your Float fork, or just want a more plush and active feel? Here's your answer!

Air springs are usually progressive in action, which means as the fork compresses the air gets squashed and the fork starts to feel stiffer. However, Fox designed the TALAS with an extra air chamber that is controlled by an independent floating piston. This creates a very smooth linear compression feel, almost like a coil spring. We really like this, and the compression and rebound set-up is easy to fine-tune, with dials on top of the right leg. There's a lockout lever there too, and three independent controls on one leg top are still remarkably easy to use, even on the move.

Keep it friendly guys, I'm not going to start slagging anyone. :)

All of your above post has nothing to do with rider weight.

YES air sprung forks are progressive.

that does not mean a lighter rider will bottom out an air fork easier than a heavier person.

it's more likely to be the other way round as with a greater mass of rider you can influence a greater reaction given you can apply more energy due to momentum to a greater mass than a lesser mass.

the increased weight has the greater potential energy than a lighter weight.

LOL thank you for correcting me

Anyway picked up the bike and looks FAB

Dark Black with glitter in the paint work
The forks are tall and very strong.
They add about a 1 lb on the front and not bothered about that
will keep the front end down going up the hills and
simply flick the lever for 100-130-160 travel

Tried the bike outside shop and wont add the third ring on the crank
enough power there and be perfect on the trail.

This is going to fly down the hills in Epping Forest

    Cant wait to ride it

For anyone looking for a bargain There is a 16 inch model 06 Orange 5 S model with upgrades
    worth £ 1,749.00p selling for £ 1,349.00p
This is Lesiure Lakes in Bury

Andy how did you post your pick of your bike on here??

    Thank you for everyones help

The mono 4's are great pull and do they stop.

The crank is fine didnt need the third ring atll well being there
