Shipping bikes via couriers

Just how much is it likely to cost to ship a complete bike via a courier... within the UK.

Has anyone any experience of this?

Who would they recommend to use.

Cheesy have you used them? am I reading a possible £0.99 to send a bike by courier for 2 day correctly? that seems awful cheap.

I meant to say £10.99 not £0.99 that would be cheap. :oops:

I got the link as a few of the guys 'on the other site' have used them.

Baccaman - never used them but seem legit. and it's £10.99 up to 30kg...

I know it seems low but Parcelforce charge a lot more (about 50 quid for a full bike)

I've just bought a bike on ebay which cost £19 to send parcelforce 2 day.

really, I've sent numerous frames out by Parcelforce48, that's just the frames in the boxes with packaging without anything else and it has cost £19.45 everytime.

But I have always made sure that I have had it insured for £500 though which is advisable

the thing to watch out for with Bikes is the total size. Bike Boxs are often bigger than the allowed size for the up to 30kg limit.
