Hi,
I decided to build up a bike i aquired, a 2004 scott yz2, but i am finding it a little hard to find out what size shimano bottom bracket i need. Does anyone know the answer of know where i can find out?

measure the old one! Sometimes the only way. If yopu are replacing it is has to come out anyway.0

i never had the old one, i just got the frame with nothing attached. The bb is the last thing i need to figure out the size for building it up. cheers anyway0

You can measure the BB shell - either 68 or 73mm. then the axle length depends on the chainset you are using.0
