noob STI question

I have some shimano sti's which I bought 2nd hand - they were worn then and they're even more worn now.

Question is - do they rattle from new? As mine do - a lot.

Just wondering whether it's worth buying some new ones for roadie 'zen'/quietness.

mine are quiet ! which bit rattles ???

spray some GT85 in or similar ...

the levers - beyond GT85 unfortunately. Only on rough roads. Of which there are many...

bloody annoying!

which model are they ...if ultegra they have a little rubber bit round the gear lever to stop teh rattle ...is it still there ???

my tiagra have always rattled on rough roads.

if you have lubed & its still rattly ..you will have to live with it :-)
