I currentley own a Specialized Sirrus (basic version). I am considering changing the tyers down from 28 to 25.(recomendation please) What would be the advantages and disadvantage of this. The bike is curentley being used for 20 miles a day during the week and between 60 - 100 during the weekends. Thanks in advance

If there is any advantage changing from 28 to 25 it will be slight, maybe there will be a small weight reduction depending on the make you buy. On the down side 25mm tyres at higher pressure will most likely feel much harder and less comfortable.
Just my opinion of course, i currently run Panaracer Pascela 28mm on my road bike, they are light, very comfortable on poor roads and tough as old boots.
