Hey guys seen this http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/products.p ... m1b1s1p101 and i am thinking this is a good bargain or am i missing something?.
So i am thinking this or the Claud Butler Cape Wrath D27 unless you guys can come up with anything else.
i may add i am looking to use the bike for getting my fitness up and i might have a lil play around in the local woods on it also my budget is 250-400 pounds.
Many Thanks................Tora

the GT looks like a good buy to me , it's got adjustable shocks at both ends which is a big bonus, the fork is a low end item but should last a good while if looked after , its going to cost a fair few quid to upgrade to discs(wheels + discs maybe £200+ depending on choice) should you want to go down that route in the future.
The Claude Butler looks like a pretty good bike for the money too though , equipment wise the 2 bike aren't that far apart , so your choice IMO is hardtail or full sus' .On a hardtail your skills will improve much faster than a susser, line choice is more crucial you can't just batter your way through.
My bikes are at opposite ends of the xc/dh useage scale so I choose the bike for the type of riding , if the choice was mine I'd err on the side of the full susser though.Ideally you should try to get a ride on the bikes your looking at even round the car park is better than buying blind , there's a lot more to buying a bike than having enough crotch clearance.http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2370/222 ... 9237_b.jpg GT Ruckus I-Drive
