It's nice enough, but (as with the opposite sex) I reserve drooling for slightly newer models!

hmm - clearly one mans 'drool' - is another mans "rusty old pile of censored "

i fall into the latter camp.

    sorry
  • It's gotten me confused. Road drop-outs, no brake drilling on the fork and AVT says it's suspected of being 1951 vintage.

Whilst admitting that the '57 Brown Brothers book was still listing Philips type and Resilion Cantilettes it's a bit of an old fashioned frame for the period

Strangely enough I have just been looking at a Buckley, 1928, full BSA fittings, Lauterwassser bars and a Brooks Sprinter saddle, too small for me though.
  • Hmm, I was offered one of these last year. It was being restored. I said no, doh...

Here is a picture of one:

I think the 'one on the right' is the great Evelyn Hamilton

Excellent if snap judgement, having now seen your link, GG! And she rode a 'bent! I'm in love, if a little late....

£314 .. Not a bad price . I bet the sellers well chuffed and the buyer has a classic frame.
