The loop line is easy to ride Aintree to Halewood as it is tarmac all the way, not to bad now for broken glass.

Some of it is bandit country though so its not safe on your own if you have a new shiny bike. Gangs of scallys can be found along there after mid day if they can bother to get out of bed.

  • It's not too bad in the morning's but never do it after dark.

The best place to pick it up is on the south edge of the Aintree horse racing course just south of the famous Canal Turn.

cheers for that, just been for a run and it looks like i can get on at seeds lane, am aware of the worst parts if places name wise but is the any particular spots on the lines that are notorious for knocking crews?

  • Only in the areas of broken bottles and spent needles.

Pray for no punctures and ride like the wind

Give us a shout if you need an early morning weekend guide.
